Joint research project with Ohio State University „National Identity and Political Knowledge“ started [20.03.13]
In context of the Project-related Person Exchange (PPP) of the German Academic Exchange Association (DAAD), a joint research project with the Ohio State University has been launched.The research project under the direction of Prof. Dr. Sabine Trepte (University of Hohenheim) and Prof. Dr. Silvia Knobloch-Westerwick (Ohio State University) is financed by the Ministery of Education and Research (Ministerium für Bildung und Forschung. BMBF). The main focus are studies on national identity and political knowledge comparing young adults in Germany and the USA. Furthermore, the project enables the exchange of young scholars from both countries. From the USA, Benjamin K. Johnson from the Ohio State University and from Germany Josephine B. Schmitt and Tobias Dienlin from the University of Hohenheim will be working on the project.
