Diversity-X at DigiComm 2023 [16.11.23]
"(Non-)Binarity in Binary Structures" is the theme of this year’s joint annual conference of the divisions "Digital Communication" and “Media, Public Spheres and Gender” of the German Communication Association which took place on November 9th and 10th 2023 in Vienna.

Maike Braun (University of Hohenheim) and Laura Heintz (University of Mainz) represented the project „Diversity-X“ at the conference. Laura Heintz presented results from the project Diversity-X on social media communication of male, female, and non-binary communication scholars and the reactions they get. At the conference, Maike Braun and Laura Heintz also networked with scholars on gender and diversity and with the project “Westfälische Erfinderinnen” which, like Diversity-X, is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
