Team Media Psychology at the Annual Conference of the DGPuK in Erfurt  [12.03.24]

The 69th Annual Conference of the German Communication Association (DGPuK24) will take place in Erfurt from March 13 to 15. The conference theme promises to develop visions for a better life. The Department of Media Psychology is also contributing with a presentation.

Although female authors have been publishing more in recent years, female authors are still cited less. In addition, female authors from the DACH region publish less in international comparisons. Astrid Jansen and Sabine Trepte will report on the latest results from the BMBF-project on citation diversity, which they collaborate on with schrolars from the University of Mainz. The contribution is entitled "Wer wird in der DACH-Kommunikationswissenschaft publiziert, wer wird zitiert? [engl.: Who is published, who is cited in DACH communication science?]".

The DGPuK offers a platform to discuss current results and trends in communication science research. We look forward to a lively exchange in Erfurt!
