Mag. Alexandra Lux, Bakk.

Alexandra Lux promoviert im Fachgebiet Medienpsychologie bei Prof. Sabine Trepte. Sie studierte Publizistik- und Kommunikationswissenschaft mit den Nebenfächern Psychologie und Soziologie an der Universität Wien. Während des Magisterstudiums arbeitete Alexandra Lux als studentische Hilfskraft in der Forschungsgruppe “Empirische Kommunikationsforschung” (empcom). Zudem verbrachte sie das erste Fachsemester ihres Magisterstudiums an der University of Ottawa (Kanada).

Während ihres Bakkalaureatstudiums besuchte Alexandra Lux in den Jahren 2010 und 2011 für jeweils drei Monate das Department of Communication der Cornell University (NY, USA).

Als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin des Lehrstuhls Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik der TU Darmstadt arbeitet Alexandra Lux seit November 2017, angegliedert an die Abteilung Media Security and IT Forensics des Fraunhofer SIT, im interdisziplinären BMBF-Projekt "PANDA" (Parallelstrukturen, Aktivitätsformen und Nutzerverhalten im Darknet). In diesem Rahmen widmet sie sich insbesondere dem Kommunikationsverhalten in den Parallelräumen Darknet, Clearnet und Offline-Kommunikation im Kontext von Privatheit.
